Marie asked:

It’s not sateen or shiny at all. She bought it from overstock.com. Can anyone advise me what kind of “cotton” I should type into the search engine? I can’t find anything like it and she bought it so long ago that she can’t tell me the type of material it is. It can’t be just plain cotton because it’s so soft, like the softest t-shirt I’ve ever owned. Anyone who can help me, any suggestions are appreciated.

Casey F asked:

If I get a duvet cover, do I still have to have a comforter to go in it?
So if my house is warm in the evenings (I live in Texas), I could use the duvet cover without a comforter.

How do you keep the comforter from shifting in the duvet cover?

I’m planning to take my duvet and pillows round to the laundrette, do I have to bring washing powder, do I have to sit there, and how much (pounds in London) will it be?
