I want to clean my duvet cover but don’t want the color to fade or for it to get those lint knobs. What’s the best way how often should I wash it?

Any tips on ironing a duvet cover? I find that I am struggling with just a standard iron and ironing board, I run out of space or it just gets creased again!

I bought a suede duvet cover a few weeks ago and its starting to smell. I know you can’t just wash suede and I can’t find any stains on it to spot treat it. Should I just spray Febreze on it, or is there some other type of fabric odor eliminator thats especially for suede?
