Is it difficult to make a duvet cover? would a full/queen size duvet cover be noticeably too big for a extra-long (dorm) bed?

it was an impulse buy. I orginally bought red satin sheets but returned them for the ivory with lavender. am I off my rocker?

I personally think they sound lovely as well as elegant.

The important thing about color and texture is that it effects peoples moods and if it makes you feel good then thats the only thing that counts.

If your room is decorated similarly, there is nothing wrong with ivory and lavendar. What I think is tacky is satin sheets in general. Says you’re trying too hard to be **** in my eyes.

No, you’re not off your rocker:) Ivory goes with Lavender a heck of alot better than Red!! Actually, I don’t think you could have chosen anything else that would match better, other than white or a coordinating colored print. Sounds comfy! One thing I will never scrimp on is good quality bedding!!
