Have any of you heard about Duvet Dollars. Does it work? Are the Ikea quilt covers the same as duvet covers?

They work kind of like a pillow case; they’re thin and you put a soft white downy comforter inside of them and usually button them up. They’re nice because they can easily be removed for washing, but if what you have inside of it is too flimsy then they get mushed up sometimes. I’ve never had a lot of luck with them, but others love them.

Purchase a nice, soft, white down comforter and put it inside the Duvet. This will give your bed a luxurious look.

usually, it’s covering a comforter or a down coverlet… something thick and warm, just not the right color or pattern, thus, the duvet cover to make the change…..

Usually a down comforter.Sometimes a quilt(the one I got my daughter from IKEA was made for a thin quilt and a comforter won’t fit in it) or a blanket. The great thing about a duvet is you don’t need a top sheet as it serves as one and making the bed is a cinch!!!!You just pull up the duvet and voila! I much prefer them to top sheet/ blanket/comforter or bedspread. So much more comfortable and easy to make up.
