Look for duvets that are supercleaned, HYPER-CLEANED, OR FRESHNESS ASSURED somewhere on the package, meaning the down has been washed over and over till the down won’t make you sneeze and it won’t stink like cheaper down. Season’s and Pacific Coast are two brands who make this kind of duvet.
I think you may be looking for a dual weight duvet, warmer on one side, cooler on the other. Here’s a link…=-1SKU=102655. It’s really a brilliant premise! More duvet companies should make these. Alot of people have the same issues as you and your partner.
