Pay someone to make a duvet cover from sheets? Has anyone tried using a featherbed mattress topper in their duvet cover instead of the normal down comforter?

My daughter is 21 months and still in a cot in our room, as she needs to share a bedroom with an older daughter. She has plenty of sheets and blankets for winter, but I was wondering about getting her a pillow and duvet. Any thoughts?

My Dad gave us a soft, mushy feather pillow that was too soft for him (or any adult) but perfect for my daughter (2 years old at the time).

foam pillows are too firm and hold the toddler’s head up too high (I think).

they recommend after 12 months. i used duvets and pillows for both kids when they become one. you should buy special pillows from mothercare or any good shop because they have more ventilation in them so if they turn into them or pull it over thier heads they will be ok

my son started using a travel pillow around a year old. I do not really use a duvet, he just has tons of blankets…crochet, fleece, etc.
